A conveyancer is a licensed professional who handles the legal side of buying or selling property. They review contracts, run property searches, coordinate with your lender, and make sure the title transfers to your name on settlement day.
It means the $1,250 covers our professional fee and all standard disbursements (title search, council certificates, water searches, strata reports, PEXA fees). No extra charges. The only thing not included is stamp duty, which goes to the NSW Government.
For a standard residential purchase in NSW, a licensed conveyancer can do everything you need. If your property has complex legal issues, we'll let you know upfront and can refer you to a specialist.
Most NSW settlements happen six weeks after exchange of contracts. We'll keep you updated on the timeline through your online progress tracker.
If we review your contract and find anything unusual (caveats, disputes, off-the-plan complexities), we'll tell you straight away. We can handle some of these ourselves, or connect you with a specialist who can.
